THE TRAINING

OVERVIEW

The shape of workshops

Negotiation Workshop has developed an approach to training over the past seven years which has been honed to perfection through extensive practice. In-house (one-company) workshops are adapted to your specific business requirements but always follow a proven format.

How each workshop is delivered is described on the following pages. However a core element of the NW approach is participation - particularly in the form of negotiation exercises which, in the main, are filmed and reviewed. (The effectiveness and impact of such an approach is confirmed time and time again by participant feedback.)

Workshops are normally delivered to groups of 4 to 8 participants. Groups of more than 8 involve multiple trainers - for facilitation of practice negotiations and syndicate work. Programmes for 1, 2 or 3 people usually take the form of a series of coaching sessions.

Most workshops run over one, two or three days and take place in venues arranged either by you or by Negotiation Workshop, as you prefer.

Who are these workshops for?

The answer to the question, put simply, is: just about everyone who conducts commercial negotiations. Negotiation skills are transferable across all sectors, though content is adapted to address particular business issues.

Content and style of delivery are also adapted to the audience so that workshops are suitable for different levels of management, from recent recruits to main board directors, and for all disciplines including purchasing, sales, marketing, project management, change programmes, M & A, property & estate, finance etc.
