Introduction by David Bryson, lead trainer

Established in 2001, Negotiation Workshop is based in Oxford but delivers negotiation skills development programmes and consultancy globally for a wide variety of client organisations. In 2008, the company became part of Norton Media Ltd., an organisation that has as its prime focus the development of skills required for negotiation and closely allied subjects through the delivery of workshops, downloads, DVD's and other media..
The issue of who exactly is going to deliver negotiation skills training and consulting is critical
It is not possible to deliver this sort of training or consulting effectively by reading a script. Issues arise, questions are asked and genuine examples and anecdotes are required. The trainer/consultant needs to have had relevant and significant commercial experience. So often, large training companies simply don't have this sort of person on their books.
Lead trainer for all Negotiation Workshop programmes is David Bryson, a highly experienced hands-on negotiator. In addition to his extensive commercial experience, David holds a BSc in Economics from the University of London and has studied negotiation pedagogy at Harvard Law School. He delivers negotiation skills training for the executive programmes of Warwick Business School and Cass Business School. He regularly attends and contributes to the main conferences on negotiation around the globe and writes on negotiation for a major management-education e-learning engine.
David works, as client requirements demand, with four associates - specialists in the fields of persuasion and influence, presentations, personal and team effectiveness and sales.
